West Hancock Middle School

OUR BELIEF

We believe learning happens best when teachers continually develop, implement and assess curriculum that not only meets state standards but addresses student needs. School experiences are based on the six pillars of character. A positive learning environment enhances the academic, social and emotional needs of students as they progress through their tween and into their teen years. Students at the middle school are involved in activities which go beyond the classroom; community service activities are held throughout the year as well as involvement in athletic and fine arts performance area.

A Statement

From Our Principal

“We believe that learning happens at its highest levels when instruction is centered around the needs of the whole child. School experiences blend high quality academic learning with social and emotional skill development. Students are exposed to a variety of educational opportunities that foster the overall development of the whole child. We are committed to seeing that every child grows towards their full potential during their time in our school.”
